FOR ILLUSTRATIONS

Medical and scientific illustrations will be recreated in-house.

Please submit a digital file of a clear conceptual sketch of the figure and a comprehensive legend for the in-house illustrators to use as a reference.

Electronic files are acceptable in any readable resolution since the illustrations will be redrawn in-house. We can accept electronic files for illustrations in the following formats and applications:

If an outside illustrator created the figure, the Journal reserves the right to modify or completely redraw it to meet our specifications for publication. The author must explicitly acquire all rights to the illustration from the artist in order for us to publish the illustration.
